Attention - Don’t open these mails from WhatsApp

A new virus is spreading around fast as email that can steal your personal information’s. The new type of virus is spreading as email which will appear to have sent from an Official WhatsApp server, but none of the mail will be sent by WhatsApp. Opening these mails can give hackers access to your personal information’s.

So if you get any following messages in your mailbox don’t open it.

An audio memo was missed
A brief audio recording has been delivered!
A short vocal recording was obtained
You have obtained a voice notification
A sound announcement has been received
You have a video announcement
A brief video note got delivered
You’ve recently got a vocal message

Comodo Labs has warned about this virus. According to Comodo inside these messages a .zip file will be present, opening the message will allow the zip file to download & run files inside automatically. The virus will start multiplying by creating sub directories & create registry files in your computer.

According to Fatih Orhan, Director of Technology, Comodo "Cybercriminals are becoming more and more like marketers - trying to use creative subject lines to have unsuspecting emails be clicked and opened to spread malware’.

WhatsApp is an instant message service now owned by Facebook inc. WhatsApp now has more than 900 Million active visitors around the world.
